Queensferry Crossing under construction
This was taken from Port Edgar in Edinburgh. You can see the 3 pillars being constructed across the river and these will be the supports for the new Queensferry Crossing. It is being built alongside the existing Forth Road Bridge, carrying the M90 motorway across the Firth of Forth, and will connect Edinburgh, at South Queensferry, to Fife, at North Queensferry.
